“Phuket is Thailand's beach playground and honestly, it's way more beautiful than the party-bro reputation suggests. The Phi Phi Islands day trip was one of the most stunning things I've ever done — turquoise water so clear you can see fish from the boat. Old Phuket Town is the hidden gem: colorful Sino-Portuguese buildings, incredible street food, and zero crowds. Grab a plate of pad thai from a beach shack for $2 and watch the sunset paint the sky pink. My tip: skip Patong if you hate crowds and stay in Kata or Rawai instead.”
